Local residents of tho sterner sex took part in a working-bee at the Puni Hall last Wednesday and under the direcion of Mr Fredk. Lucas, snr., completed the erection of the front fence and also formed paths. Afternoon tea supplied by by Mrs Black was much appreciated MrG Glover, the proprietor of the Piu.i store, has disposed of his business and his forthcoming departure from the district is regretted by all of his many Meads.
