Pte Walter L Elliott, of Papa kura, is reported as having been wounded in action on September 6th An advertisement will be found iu another column calling a public meeting of ratepayers and householders of the Papakura Town District for Friday of next week, t> discuss the general policy of the Town Board. The gathering is being convened by the Ratepayers' Association and the proceedings promise to be both interesting and lively.
