PATUMAHOE

A very successful social as a sendoff to Ptes. Ernest Rowe and Andy Sheridan, who were on final leave, was held in the Patumahoe hall last Tuesday evening, a large company being present. Mr R. W. Johns presided and Pte. Rowe was presented with a wristlet watch and Pte. Sheridan with a soldier's picnic set. Both recipients suitably returned thanks.
