MILITARY MEDAL RECIPIENT Mrs M. R. Cole-Baker, of Onewhero has received private ac'vice that her son, Douglas T. G ColoBaker, has been awarded the Military Medal for gallantry in action. His Commanding Officer, in a letter states that Private Cole-Baker made several trips out by himself under heavy gun fire and each time succeeded in bringing in a wounded man. Pte. Cole-Baker left with the 14th Reinforcements and is a cousin of Mr N. Cole-Baker, Onewhero's courteous postmaster.
