PUKEKOHE EAST.

Whilst out riding on Sunday, the Hull inst, at Tuhiiiiutu Miss Earl, assistant Echoolmistres-. at Pukekohe East, was thrown heavily to tlie ground through tho stiriup leather breaking. She was picked up ainl taken into Mr Newcombe's resideiu e, I)r Brook field, of Papakura, being sent for. Medical examination showed that Miss Earl was sufTering from concussion of tho brain and she remained unconsious for two days. She is now gradually recovering.
