PUKEKAWA
It is now about four months since the Pukekawa Branch of the Red Cross Society was formed. During this period the residents as a v lWe have contributed very liberally and donations totalling a little over i'PO have been forwarded to the following, viz , Soldiers' Gift Fund, Bed Cross Society, Y.M.C. A Soldiers' Fund, and the Victoria League Red Cross Tea Fund. These facts evidence that the Pukekaua district is genuinely interested in war work end is doing its part towards providing comfort and cheor for the brave "boys" at the front.
