ThePukekohe Golf Club's links

were officially opened on Saturday ' last. Mr James Roulston, the President, in the course of an appropriate speech welcomed the visitors as well as old and new members, all being tlip guests of Mrs James Roulston at a very enjoyable afternoon tea. The results of a handicap mixed foursome match, over 18 holes, were: O'Loughlen and Miss Bilkey 101 20—81 ; Bayly and Mrs Bayly, 115 —25—90; Bockett and Miss Olarke, 125—30—95 ; Johns and Mrs Johns, 131—35-96. Several pairs did not complete the course owing to the failing light.
