DRURY.

The Drury Cadets dance in aid of the Wounded Soldiers' Fund, held in the Drury Hall on Friday last, was well attended. The main interest of the evening was in the waltzing competition which was judged by Mr Tuely, of Papakura. The winners decided on by the judge were Miss E. Churches and Mr J. A. Hill, their waltzing being admired by all. Second honours were awarded to Miss D. Perry and Mr W. "Whimoray. Messrs W. Piatt and J. A. Hill officiated as M.Cs. and carried out their duties in a thoroughly efficient manner. The music was supplied by Messrs Cossey and Morgan and was much appreciated.
