FARMERS' INCOME TAX RETURNS.

We think it advisable to remind our readers that Income Tax Returns must be furnished to the Taxing Department not later than June Ist. It is necessary for every farmer to make a return no matter whether he made a profit or not. As we explained in our leading columns some time ago the Excess profits tax has really no relation whatever to the actual profit made, being assessed on an arbitrary "standard income," calculated upon the amount of capital employed.
