PUKEKOHE EAST.

RELIC OF THE WAR. On Tuesday last Mr and Mrs Thos. Morgan, of Pukekohe East, received from their son, Corpl. Josh Morgan, who is at the front, a parcel containing a German soldier's helmet. It is apparently almost new, being of black leather, with an elaborate crest in brass in front and a brass spike on top. Corpl. Morgan departed with the 9th Reinforcement Draft and has so far passed through the conflict without mishap. He states that when he secured his prize he was in a tight corner but emerged successfully.
