TUAKAU.
A farewell concert and dance was held in the Tuakau Public Hall last evening in honour ot Privates H. Mayall, A. Turner, P. Yearbury and E. Kogers, who are on linal leave. Mr W. Graham presided, and a well arranged programme was presented, particulars ot which will apDt'ar in our next issue. Ifaia was the first of a series of monthly socials arranged by the Tuakau Women's Patriotic League. The following awards gained by Miss K. Hamilton, of Domimcn road, Tuakau, at last Wednesday's Horticultural and Produce Show at Tuakau were omitted from the prize list as published in our issue of Friday last, viz.First for decorated table; first for collection of pickles, sauces, and chutney; second for apple jelly: second tor white bread; second for brown bread; and first tor bouquet of garden flowers.
