COUNTY COUNCIL VACANCY.
NOMINATION DATE EXTENDED.
County Council honours apparently are not appreciated in the PukeKawa riding of the Raglan County Council, since on two oc casions, including last Friday, when nominations should have closed for filling the vacancy on the Council, caused by the resignation of Mr S. H. Evre, no candidates came forward. The Returning Officer, Mr H. Marsland, now advertises in this issue that nominations will be re* ceised up to noon on Friday of next week, the 23rd inst., and polling, if necessary, will take place on Friday, March 2nd.
