DRURY
THE LAIE MK K. FLANAGAN. Id tbe death, which occurred on November 25th, of Mr Kobert Flanagan the Drury district Buffered the loss of one of its best known and most esteem, d residents. The late Mr Flanagan, who was 60 years of age, arrived in New Zealand 40 years ago and fjr the last 32 years he has lived in the Drury district, where he engaged mostly in farming pursuits.' As a farmer be was exceptionally successful Possessed of sound and mature judgment in all matters in relation to the industry his opinion was always valued. In public matterß the d:ceased was decidedly progressive, broad and liberal in bis views and open beirted and generous h support of all true charity. The late Mr Flanagan, who was a brother of Mr J. Flanaaan, chairman of the Frsnklin County Council, is survived by his wite and six children. His eldest son, Lieut. Flanagan, is now serving in France, while his second son, Bert, enlisted ouly a few days before his father's death.
