MAOKI WAR MEMORIAL
TO-MOKKOW'S CEKEMUNY.
As announced in cur last issue the Hon. G. W. Kussell, M.P., Minister for Internal Affairs, is to visit Tuakau to-morrow (Saturday) for the purpose of unveiling the obelisk erected at the Alexandra Redoubt in memory of soldiers who fell in the Maori war and are buried there The ceremony is timed for 2 p.m., and will be preceded "by a luncheon at 12 noon in the Public Hall, in addition to the Hon. Mr Kussell, other visitors will be Sir F. W. Lang, M.P., the Hon. Dr Pomare, M.P., Hon. U. Harris, M.L.C., Mr K. F. Bollard, MP., Mr J. A. \oung, M.P., Col. G. W. Patterson, (O.C. Auckland Major Lusk, Warrant Officer Hatt, and Messrs G. J. Garland and J. Flanagan.
Mr Win. McK.ee, of Tuakau, was yesterday attested at the Pukekohe Defence Office lor service wi'h the 27th Reinforcements.
