Corporal Walker, of the Auckland Mounted Section of the 20th Reinforcements, was in Papakura last week on leave. Duncan, Traffic Manager, remarked on the rapid growth of the district and said that in time a better railway service to Papakura would have to be provided, but the whole matter hinged on the matter of money.
