PUKEKOHE HORSE SALE.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report as follows :

At Pukekohe on Monday and Tuesday of last week we held a special horse sale. The yarding of horses was not big and consequently prices were better. Heavy draughts, £25 to £34 ; aged draughts, £ll to £2l ; medium draughts, £l7 10s to £2B 10s ; light harness horses, £8 10s to £l7 ; hacks, £7 10s to £l6 ; ponies, £4 10s to £9 ; weeds, 10s upwards. Unbroken horses in average numbers sold well. Medium sorts, £lO to £l7 ; light, £5 to £lO.
