SUCCESSFUL BULL SALE.

A Large Yarding.

The first separate sale of hulls held in Pukekohe by Messrs Buckland and Sons, took place last Thursday, when some 400 beasts were yarded Buyers were present from Tauranga, Whangarei, Te Puke, Kaipara, Auckland and all surroundiDg districts. Some of the best prices recorded were as follows : —For a bull sold by Mr Hottentot, Pukekohe, and purchased by Messrs Lynch Bros., llama Bama, l'Jgns, and a Jersey bull sold by Mr J. Harris, Bombay, 20gns. Mr J. R. McElwain, Glenbrook, disposed of several yearling Grade Shorthorns which fetched up to lSgns, the average being l<3gns. The averages for Holsteius and Ayrshires wore logns and logns respectively.
