Alfrtstoa reiadents will be pleised to hear that tbe State Advances Department have advised Ur Gnos S. Pegler that the application for a loan of £6OO to form and metal w Kanfurly road has received tbe favourable consideration of tbe Department. Mr B. Gothorp, late superintendent of the Alfristoa Sunday School,' has removed from the district, having taken over a farm in tbe Ngaruawahia district. Prior to leaving, tbe district bad a farewell social and made him a presentation. Mr H. Moody has succeeded Mr Uotborpe as Sunday School Superintendent. * d
