WAERENGA.
LAND FOK SOLUIEBS. It is announced from Wellington that tbe Government baa purchased another block of land in tbe Auckland district for tbe purposes of settlement of discharged soldiers. The land, which consists of over GOO acres, is situated about eight miles from Waercnga, in the Lower Waikato district. It is described as of excellent quality, it having been used for dairying purposes lor many years. It willjse cut up into small , A sections, probably of from 60 to 80 acres each.
