EAKMERS' UNION MEETING. Tho monthly meeting uf the Pukekohe East branch of the Fanners' Union was held on Saturday last in the presence of a fair attendance of members, Mr T. Hamilton being in the chair. Arising out of the coirespondence the secretary (Mr J. Glenie) was instructed to write to the Provincial Secretary asking why certain subscriptions were not collected for the year 11)15-1(5, and suggesting that in future all subscriptions should be collected by local secretaries.

On the motion of Mr Alf. White, it was resolved to form a Babbit Board in Pukekohe East, it being left to the secretary to communicate with Mr Rowan, Government Inspector, to secure information iu the matter and to arrange a public meeting at which the Inspector could be present
