CHEESE AND LENTIL PIE.
Required : of choose, 6ozs. of lentils, -lozs. of onions. Jozs. of breadcrumlis, 1 Uzs. of dripping, some salt, pepper, and a little stock or gravy. .Method : Wash and pick over the lentils. peel and chop the onion, am. cook in a little water with the lentils. It is best to use a ifoubl.' pan, if a single one the contents must be frequently stirred. (Irate the cheese, ut it in -i has in with the partlv cooked lentils and onions; add breadcrumbs with poplar and salt to taste, and a tablospoonful of minced parsley. Moisten witii stock and mix to a soft pu'p. Put the mixture into a greased tin, or pie-dish; place some fat in small pieces over tho top, and bake in a hot oven until -irmly set.
