Pegler met with while endeavouring lately to secure assistance towards having the approach to the proposed briflge across the railway, leading from the Great South road, adjusted in order to allow for traffic to pass over the bridge at an easy angle instead of an acute angle, as was intended, the alteration is being made. The fence adjoining tli9 approach, ruuuing parallel to the Great South road, has been shifted loft back towards the railway lino and the grado will be considerably easier than was originally intended. The district is indebted to Mr Pegler for the efforts be put for ward el.
