The Whaugarata Ladies' Patriotic Club has just forwarded to the Mayoress of Auckland another case of comforts for the troops, consisting of 26 pairs of pyjamas, 4 pairs eocks, 3 scarfs, leap, 3 belts, made from club mateiial. The pyjamas weie made by Mrs Goulter (12 pairs), Mesdames Lawrence, Rapson, Fraser, T. Smeod, Ludwig, Misses Hayward and Chiiste; Socks by Mesdames Goulter, Lawrence and Fraser 1 pair each, Miss A. Lawronce 1 pair; Bed socks and scarfs by Mesdames Ride.'iut and Hayward 1 each ; Cap by Mrs Hayward ; Belts by Mesdam r s Rideout and T. Smeed I each, Miss Lawrence 2 Donations—Mrs Goulter 3 belts, Mrs Hayward 1 cap and 1 scarf, Mrs Lawrence 1 cap and 2 pairs mittens, Mesdames Ewing and T. Smeed 1 cap each ; Miss Beamish 3 hussifs.
