As the contractor for making two block culverts 011 Crichtou's hill has been somewhat dilatory in regard to making a start the Wairoa Road Board are going to request him to push ahead with the work. The noxious weeds growing on the Ardmoru-Range road formod the ■subject of discussion at the AVairoa Road Board's meeting yesterday and it was resolved to forward names of offenders to Inspector Rowan.
