TUAKAU SOUTH.
The school accommodation at Tuakau South is again causing concern. On Saturday last an Inspector from the Public Health Department after inspecting the school and the tent adjoining which is being used as an annexe spoke adversely as to both. A member of the committee, to satisfy his own curiosity, took the temperature in the tent one day last week and found it to legister 9 1 degrees. Cases of fainting among the lady teachers have occurred, being said to bo duo to the excessive heat and the damped conditions under which they were working.
