McNab) will, by arrangement with the Waikato River Board, proceed by launch from Huntly at 1 p.m next Monday to Mercer, In the evening the Minister will be the guest at a public banquet t>) be held at Mr Hoare's boai'.linghouse, Mercer, and on Tuesday morning the trip to the Waikato Heads will be undertaken.

On Tuesday evening Mr McNab will speak at a recruiting meeting to ho held at Mercer, and as he is a powerful speaker and a recognised authority on military matters his discourse will be well worth hearing. Subsequent to the meeting the Minister will depart by the night express for Wellington.
