Hamilton's property the District Engineer has informed the County Engineer that pending a decision on the subject the expenditure of the grant for work in Henderson's Gully will he withheld. The ladies of Onewhero carried out a Leap Year ball on Tuesday last. The popularity of the function and the success that attended it may be gauged from the fact that visitors came from all the surrounding districts.
