ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
Sawyer—Thomas. Conei:'e*able interest was centred in the wedding solemnised at St Peter's Church, Bombay, on Wednesday, February 2nd, the contract ing parties bcinx Mr John Sawyer, of Bombay, son of Mr P J Sawyer, of Wellington, and Miss Flossie Thomas, daughter of Mr W H Thornac of "Puketutu," Bombay. The Rev L Foulke?, Vicar, ofiiciated The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a ve-y pretty dress of white China silk, with sash of white satin. She also wore the customary veil and wreath of orange blossoms and carred a dainty shower bouquet of white (lowers and asparagus fern with satin streamers Miss Annie Thomas, sister of the bride, and Miss Gladys Sawyer, sister of the biidegroonj, the bridesmaid?, were attired in white crepcilo with white hats, trimmed with white silk ribbon, their bouquets being composed of white pink flowers Mr A Madill acted as best man, and Master Edward J Thomas as gro nisman As the bridal party left tbe church the Wedding March was played by Miss Foulkes on the organ On tbe corclusion of the ceremony the bridul party were conveyed by motor cars to the residence of the bride's parents, where a reception was held, the guests numbering over 30
Subsequently Mr and Mrs Sawyer proceeded by motor-car to Pukekohe en route for Rotorua and Thames, the bride's travelling dress being a stylish navy serge costume with a smart tagel straw hat. Their future home is to be at Wellington
