THE CHEESE FACTORY

A meeting of tbe local directors of the new cheese factory was held on Monday, Messrs R. Walters, W. Louden and A. J. Kidd attending, and Mr W. Gcodfellow, managing director of the Waikato Co-opera-tive Dairy Company, and Mr Daniel, the architect of the building, also being present. The building work in progress was viewed and it was hoped that tbe same would be completed within a month. Arrangements were made tor tbe construction ot a tramway the factory to the creek to ex. . nte the unloading of coal and the shipping of cheese, etc., and the necessary permission for the same is to be sought from ths County Council and Drainpgq Board. The vats have already arrived, and it was reported that the boiler was at Mercer, and that the machinery was in course of tranist to Mercer. o
