TUAKAU
The following further donations to the Patriotic Fund have been handed to the secretary, Mr A. H. Tapper, viz.:—James Pirret £3 3s and W. G. Graham £1 Is. At a public meeting held in theTuakau Hall on Friday evening last, Mr Dynes Fulton presiding, it was agreed to combine ths various Patriotic Committees of the district into one body, which will be known as the Tuakau Patriotic Leauge. Mr Dynes Fulton was elected chairmap, and the Kev. W. Butterworth secretary and treasurer.
