EXAMINATION OF SUNDAYSCHOOL CHILDBEN. The Mauku Sunday School has been remarkably successful this year in the examination of its pupils by the Sunday School Union. Out of a roll number of about 40, sixteen candidates were offered and succeeded in carrying off no less than thirteen prizes and certificates. Bertha Pleydell with 92 marks aud George Bell with 87 marks secored honouis prizes. Four honours certificates and two second-class certificates were also obtained by the school. The result must be very gratifying to the superintendent, Mr A. Bell, and his assistants, Mr U. E. "Wright and Mr Selwyn.
