HUGARD'S MYSTERIES.
Uii Mondav, August 23rd, a treat is in store for fukekohe theatregoers, when Hugard, "the man vou can't shoot," supported by a specially selected combination of Bingers, musicians and comediars, is to appear in the Premier Hall. Hugard tcured the Dominion some two years ago and created such a favourable impression (hat it is safe to qn'.icipate a big reception for him in fukekohe. As a card manipulator he has no equal, and his great rifle feat is a sensation. In this he allows any three bcnl riflemen or territorials to bring their own rifles and catndgep, privately mark both the bullet and shell, and then fire punt blank at him. Hugard guarantees to stop the bullets, and when examined tbey will be found to be bot, rifle grooved and with the private marks on them. The shells will also be found to have the marks on them. A Dunedin daily, speaking of Hugard, says: "Hugard is probably the best sleight cf hand artist tnat has appeared hern, but it is in his dssdly sensational bullet-catching act that he scores best." Supporting Huagrd are several first class artistes, and include Miss Myra Grringtor, soprano and instrumentalist, who is responsible for a really fire musical act. She plays on all torts of instruments, including the Xylophone and musical spinning discs Miss Millie Clare is a charming comedienne, and Clivalli and Dog Sport are sensational jugglers and balancers. The Great Chinese Act is a succassion cf beautiful illusions and startling magical effects, and is said tu be the biggest and most gorgeous act of its kind that has ever toured the Dominion, fries are 3s, 2b and Is. The 3s seats may be reserved at the Bookery without extra charge.
