A meeting of the Executive of the atova organisation was he Id on I'uesday evening last in the Society's office on the Pukekohe Showgrcund, the members present being Messrs 13. K. Hamilton, president, James Wjlie, F. E. Simpson, J. Roulston, C. K. Lawrie, R. Bilkey, J. H. Webb, Jaa Potter, J. Kennelly, H. Bockett, A. P, Dayah and the secretary, Mr J. M. Baxter. The president reported that the recent wurking-bee was in every way successful, the greater part of the removal to the new showground rf pens and yards having been effected. The building still, however, had to be conveyed to th 9 new quarters. The piesident estimated that the voluntary labour forthcoming had saved the Society some £6O to £BO in expenditure that would otherwise have been entail 3d. —lt was decided to arrange for another working-bee when the weather permitted of the same.
A formal resolution was passed that in view of the forthcoming annual meeting the Society's toik9 should be closed for the financial year on June 30th.
The president's action in purchaeing posts, e'c., to the extent of £ll at the recent sale cf the N.Z. Loan Company's old saleyardß was confirmed. It was decided to hold the annual general meetiDg of the Society on Wednesday, July 28th. The dates for next year's Show were fixed for Friday and Saturday, February 27th and 28th.
