Last Thursday's games included a challenge match for the pairs trophies, which wa9 closely contented. At the tenth head the challenger?, Hutchinson ar,d Barii ball, were equal points with the holder?, Meains end Harris,* the scores being eight all. The concluding head was only decided after a measure, which was in favour of the holders by a small margin.
