PUKEKOHE STOCK SALE.
A heavy yarding was secured by Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons for their sale in the Pukekohe yards yesterday (Monday), and proceedings were not concluded until 6.1b p.m. Springing cows and heifers close to proliit had a ready tale, and there was keen competition for gcod calves, weedy calves being neglected. Hulls were in go-d demand. Beef solti at full We.tiield rates. Dairy cow 3 and heifers made from £5 5s to £9; hulls, £3 to £8 15s; Eteerß, £9 to £l3; fat cows, good, £6 5s to £lO 12s 6d; calves, up to £2 ss. Two lines of 2-tooth eaeH and wether lambs made 17a ( Jd and 11a 3d respectively.
