Craig, J. Ron Is ton, W. J. D. Sharp, F. Ballard, K. Lawrie, F. E.. Simpson, W. K. Lawfon, J. H. Webb, A. P. Daysh and the secretary, Mr J. M, Baxter. Messr Hopkins and O'Loughlen waited on the Committee and asked on bshalt of the Fukekohe Golf Club fnr permission for golf to bi played over the new showground. — it was decided ti grant a Lasc of the ground to the Golf Club for a period of five years at a yearly rental of £5 per annum.

A letter was read from Mr L. C. A. Potter oll'ering his services in an honorary capacity as architect for layi'g out the new showground. —lt was decided to thank Mr Potter for his generous oiler. ft was decided that the old showground should be divided into quarter-acre sections and that the same should b3 offered for tale by public auciiun, Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sun 3 and the New Zealand Loan V.a Mercantile Company to be the joint auctioneers. Terms of purchase wera fixed at ten par cent on fall ot the hammer, ten per cent within 12 months, and th: balance spread over three years at five per cent interest, a discount of five per cent to be offered for cash.

It was arranged that a general meeting of memberi should be convened at an early date for the purpose of authorising the raising of an overdraft at the bank to meet the outlay required in the transfer of buildings, pens, etc., to and the laying out of the new showground, the Finance Committee being empowered to arrange for the removal. —i»r Wylie suggested that members wouli materially assist the Society by lending teams of horses and waggons for carting purposes.
