ARARIMU.
The action of the Franklin County Council in decidiug to have the Noxious Weeds Act enforced should meet with the approval of all progressive ratepayers ir. the County. It may reasonably be hoped that enforcement, with discretion, of the regulations providtd will have the effect of ultimately Vanishing from the Eeveral districts tr.« allied pests—blackberrie, rabbits and absentee owners. Thus will the productiveness of the wliole county be increased, and a burden of care lifted from those diligent ones who are now battling against stupendous odds. This district, unfortunately, b not altogether free from the pests, and many will welcome an attempt to rid it of them.
