WEDDING BELLS.
Wroblenski-McLean. A quiet but pretty wedding wai solemnised at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pukekohc, yesterday, the' contracting parties being Miss Louitia Catherine McLean, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs V. H. McLean (Public Woiks Department), Patumahoe, and Mr Joseph Wroblenski (Police Department!, New Plymouth, tifth son uf Mr and Mrs Wroblenski, Allaaton, Utago. The. Kev. Father Molloy oiliciated, the bride being given away by her father. The couple left by the 12.45 p.m. train for Auckland, where the honeymoon is to be spent.
McGovern -McKeegan. A pretty wedding took place at San Antonio Church, Muritai, Wellington, on Monday last, -vhun Miss Iris Kosc McKecgan, daughter of Mr and Mrs J. McKeegao, of Rona Day, Wellington, was married to Mr Patrick John McGovorn, ann of the late Mr P. J. McGovern, J.P., of Pukekohe, and Mrs M. A. McGovern. Ihe Hev. Father Bartley, S.M., performed the rercmony. The bride, who was given away by her father, word a costums ot white crepe dc chene, ai<d a white hat with ostrich plumes, and carried a bouquet of white ros3> .She was attended by her miter, Miss Molly McKeegan, ri bridesmaid, who wore nattier blue brocaded silk, with a hat to match, and carried a bouquet ot pink roses. Mr S. J. Moran was the best man. After the ceremony Mr and Mrs McKeegan held a reception at tbtir home in Kona Bay, where the bride and bridegnom received the congratulations of their friend*, and the usual toasts and weiv honoured. Later Mr and Mrs McGovern left by motor car on their honeymoon, the bride wearing a costume of navy blue cloth, and hat to match trimmed with red roses.
