WITH THE BOWLERS.
On the Pukekohe Green. A Labour Day Tournament. On Monday morning Mossrs Kiug and Eossitter, of Waiuku, had a gatno on the Pukokoho groeu, prior to making their journoy to tho Otahuhu green for the official opening tho re. Iu the afternoon a progressive pairs tournament, 10 head matches, was arranged. Twenty players took part and throe games wore got over although a change or two was made in tho personnel of fho teams in the last round. The procedure followod was that ten skips wore first solectod and the names of tho other players were then drawn to determine with which skips they should play. Tho results of the day were as follows (the names of the skips appearing last in each case.) Smith's place, and the loss of two other players caused Oraham (who had two wins to his credit) and Hubbard to withdraw from the contest. The scopes wore as folluw : Finsr Round.
