PUKEKOHE EAST.

A public mesti'g was held in the hall, Pukekohe East, on Tuesday, 9th ins l ., to listen to an uddrss by Mr Schmit, secretary Auckland Farmers' Union. There was a good attendance, and Mr Lait* was voted to the chair. After a very interesting discusuon, it was unanimously decided to form a branch of the Union in Pukekohe Eaßt. Mr T. Latta was appoints president, and Mr J. Glenia secretary and treasurer.
