POKENO.
ACCIDENTS. Mr D. Thompson, of the local railway staff, is at present laid up with a bad hand. Mr Ihompson had the misfortune to gei his finger crushed in the course of his duties. Last Sunday a little child of Mrs W. McGill had the misfortune to get scalded. The little sufferer was removed by motur car to the doctor at Tuakau, wheie all was done that could be done to relieve the little sufferer.
