At Waiuku yards cn Saturday we held our usual monthly sale, 'lhtre was a good yarding of stock of all descriptions, which sold at fully late (luotatiooi. Beet dairy cows and heifers sold at from £7 to £9, others £5 to £7; backward cows, £3 7s to £0 17s 6J; yearling to 18-months-old steers, £3 15s to £5; good calves, £2 to £2 Hi; others, 20s to 355; mixed sexes, 20s to 38s; empty cows, £3 to £4 4s; heifers, £2 12s lo £3 ss; bulls. £3 to £5. Beef sold at Wesllield rates. BUCKLAND AND SONS.
At Poker.o on Monday and Runciman on Tuesday cattle came forward in full cumbers. At bath places there was a better demand for all classes. Three to three and a-half year steers sold to £7 ss; two-year olds, £4 12i 6d to £5 ss; yeatlng to 18-tr.onths steers, £2 17s to £4; in calf heifers, £3 12s 6d to £4 15s; empty cows, £2 18s to £4, ss; fat cows, £6 5s to £7 10s; bulls, £2 10s to £7; good calves, £1 14s to £2 ss; othere, J9a to 325; dairy cows close to profit, £lO 5s to £l2 2s Gd; mrre backward, £5 2i 6d !o £9 10s.
Oa Monday wc held a special hcrse sale at Pukekohe, when more than the advertised number came forward.
