TUAKAU.
WEDDING. A very interesting marriage was celebrated at Tuakau on Wednesday morning, the parties to the nuptials being Ur George O'Connor, son of Mr Frank O'Connor, and Miss Kathleen Gaunt, daughter of Mr Gaunt, fowferly of Yorkshire. The Tuakau Catholic Church wai the centre of an animated ceremany. Ttoe church was tastefully decorated with flural arches over the aisle and a wedding bell of white chrysanthemums suspended over the bridal pair. The bridesmaids were Miss May Geraghty; best man, Mr James O'Connor; train bearers, little Kathleen and Nellie O'Connor, of Pukekohe. The people of Tuakau were delighted to have Father J igar, O.P, who came back for the occasion. The wedding breakfast was enjoyed at Mr Frank O'Connor's. Tbe newly-wedded couple left by express for Auckland. This was the first marriage celebrated in the new church. Miss Foley played the Wedding March.
