PUKEKOHE HARRIER CLUB
What with the hnil, rain and a A liumher of their members being away in camp, things were decidedly against the harriers for their first run on Saturday, May 2nd. But for all that ten of the members started on their first run from Mr I. Motion's.
The "hares" took them in a big Rweep around the foot of Pukekohe Hill and back to Mr Motion's—a run of about four miles. On the return refreshments were provided, and Mr J. J. C'oady (as one of the vicepresidents) thanked the hoit and hostess for their generosity to the club members. To turn out on a day like Saturday, in the light running rigs, especially for the first run, shows that the harriers are not merely tine weather sports. The next run will be from Mr Robert Miller's house on Saturday, 9th May. The harriers arc open to invitation to start from the houses of those interested.
