ENJOYABLE CONCEKT. A very enjoyable concert was held on the flka Aka in connection with rtbe Presbyterian Church. The evening being fine a crowded house was the result. An excellent programme was provided, the items being:—Overture, Mrs Motion; songs by Mrs Andrew, Misses Kossiter and Muir, Messrs Andrew, Young, Bissicks ar.d Grimmond. Selections were rendered by the Pukekohe quartett?, and comic songs by Messrs Andrew, Aldred and Morgan. Accompaniments were played by Mesdames Motion and Andrew and Miss Penman. The singers were all vigorously encored, more particularly the comies by Messrs Andrew, Morgan and Aldred, and all the selections by the Pukekohe quartette. Mrs Andrew, of Pukekohe elso played a violin solo, which was greatly appreciated. Great prai3e h due to the ladies who so generously provided a splendid supper. From a financial point of view the concert was a gre:t success, the net proceeds amounting to over £l6.
