RECORD BUTTER OUTPUT.
Increase of 15 Per Cent. In last Friday's issue we referred to the great increase in our district's butter production. The increase in the output of butter in the Auckland province during the present season has been a notable advance on the output for the last year. Figures representing only a portion of the milking season, namely, from July to December, inclusive, have been disclosed by the New Zealand Dairy Association. A study of the Association's payments for butter-fat supplied to 31st December last, and also of their manufacture for the same period, reveals the position very clearly when they are compared with the figures relating to the corresponding period of last season.
