OTAUA.
INTERESTING WEDDING.
A wedding cf considerable local interest took place in the Otaua Church on Wednesday, November 26ib, the contracting parties being Miss M. H. Denize, second daughter of>Mr J. D. Denize, of Otaua, and Mr Desmond Potter, eldest son of Mr George Potter, of Macurewa. The bridesmaids were Miss Carbines, of Auckland, and Miiß May Denize, cousin of the bride. Mr Harold Potter was best man and Mr Oscar Deoize groomsman. The bride was attired in a handsome dress of cream silk, trimmed with shadow lace, with tfustomary veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids' dresses were champange silk crepe and overall lace. The wedding breafast was held in a large msrqaee at the residence of the bride's parents. After 'the usual toasts had been honoured the happy couple left for Pakekohe, en route for Rotorua. The wedding were both numerous and handsome. 2 THE WAIUKU KAILWAY.
Great satisfaction will he felt here at a sum of money being placed on tbe Estimates for the Waiuku railway. Otana (being only four miles from Waiuku by one of the best roads in the Franklin county) will be well served by the railway.
