BUCKLAND.
THE COMING BAZAAR. The bazaar in aid of the church funds for lights and organ, to be held at Bnckland on Friday and Saturday next, gives every promise of being the most successful that the district has ever witnessed. In recognition of the good services that the Buckland settlers have rendered in Auckland during the strike, •Bveral firms there have generously contributed a fine lot of handsome and useful articles to the sale. So that the fair will supply a splendid opportunity of shopping for Christmas presents. The wholesale prices of one firm's gift totalled £l6 19s and these goods (gold chains, pipes, mounted scent bottles, etc.) have been marked for sale at the bazaar at £8 19s, so that, wonderful bargains will be the order of the day In addition to this special opportunity of buying Christmas gifts at half the wholesale price there will %e a galaxy of entertainments shooting galleries, guessing competitions, etc., etc. This bazaar will undoubtedly mark an epoch in the finances of church affairs in Buckland, and the bargains available, to Bay nothing of the other attractions, are sure to attract big attendances.
