SCHOOL HOLIDAY.
11l order to give the children an opportunity of visiting tin Horticultural Society's flower show at Pukekohe, our school is to bo cbsod to morrow (Wednesday). TENNIS LANCE. The tenuis dance, held at Puni on Friday night, was a great success ; indeed there were really too many patrons for comfort in dancing. The school was nicely decorated for the occasion and visitors from Pukekohe and Mauku were present. The dresses worn were worthy of the occasion. The secretary, Mr Fulton, had been called away as a special constablo, but he and other special constables w ere able to be present at the gaiety. During the secretary's absence Messrs J. W. t Black and E. Lucas, undertook the duties of acting secretaries. The ladies committee (consisting of Mesdames Penfold, Payne and Black and Misses Maloney and Waller) did their duties most excellently, a dainty supper being the result. Miss Palleng supplied the music, extras being played by Messrs Wright, Fauselt, White and Moll'att.
