FARMERS' UNION. Again I have to report a cruwded ;ittendance at the Farmers' Union euchre party, for on Monday night there were 50 players present, all entering heartily into the evening's fun. This evenirg was to be the thai for the season, but aa regret was expressed that the season was over it wes decided to hold another in a fortnight's lime, when the ladies have promsed a return evening to the gentlemen. Prizes on Monday fell as follows: Lady's first, a cut glass honey jar, Miss Howard, 11 whs out of 15. Miss Pleydell tieu hut fel! out in the play off. Men's first, a stockwhip, Mr J. Forbes with 12 wins. Messrs Knight ana Howe had charge of the evening and carried everything through successfully.
